UK’s Tern rejigs production & development with BBC Studios hire & double promotion
UK-based factual producer Tern has rejigged its development and production team, hiring from BBC Studios and promoting two existing execs.
David Kerr becomes senior development producern at the Zinc Media Group-owned prodco, moving from BBC Studios where he had the same role.
Prior to that, he was development producer at Two Rivers Media and producer/development producer at Beezr Studios, where he worked on commissions including Wild Weekends for BBC Three/BBC Scotland and Jamie Genevieve’s Great Indoors for BBC Scotland.
On the production side, Angela Smith and Cara Maclean have both been promoted to production executive.
Both are former production managers at Tern, with Smith and Maclean having been at the company for two decades and nine years respectively.
