Disney+ orders German original drama ‘Pauline’ from local prodco Bildundtonfabrik

Pauline

Disney+ has increased its German originals with a show about a woman who falls pregnant after a one-night stand with the devil.

Pauline is being written by Sebastian Colley and produced by Cologne-based prodco Bildundtonfabrik.

Philipp Käßbohrer and Matthias Murmann, the duo behind Netflix series How To Sell Drugs Online (Fast), exec produce, with Arabella Bartsch, Alma Buddecke and Facundo Scalerandi directing.

The commission comes ahead of the launch of the first Disney+ original for Germany, Sam: A Saxon, which was first revealed in 2021.
