Cineflix lands Boat Rocker & eOne alum Dina Appleton to lead global business & legal affairs

Cineflix Media has named former Boat Rocker Media and Entertainment One exec Dina Appleton as its EVP of global business & legal affairs.

Appleton will head the company’s global business and legal affairs teams, with a remit across the development, production, acquisition, and distribution of TV and digital content across Cineflix Studios, Cineflix Productions and Cineflix Rights.

She will also have oversight of the group’s growing number of joint ventures and creative partnerships, and reports into Peter Emerson, president of Cineflix Media. She is based out of Toronto.

Appleton previously held the same role at fellow Canadian firm Boat Rocker and was SVP & head of TV business & legal affairs at eOne.
