Truly Original alum Chelsey Stephens launches talent firm & strikes ITV America pact

Truly Original’s former SVP of talent & development Chelsey Stephens has partnered with ITV America on a new US-based outfit.

Chelsey Creative Inc, which will focus on development and casting, has struck a first-look pact with ITV America president Adam Sher and EVP of casting and talent, Danielle Gervais, on all development and production.

Stephens’ focus will remain on talent-led series as she develops within a variety of unscripted genres.

The exec has worked on talent-driven series for more than a decade and was head of original casting on shows such as The Real Housewives Of Potomac and The Real Housewives Of Dubai, while also gaining credits on The Real Housewives of Atlanta and Summer House.

Stephens said: “[ITVA’s] team shares my vision and this partnership gives me the opportunity to grow as a creative and develop projects I’m passionate about. With their diverse slate and proven track record, I know this collaboration will be fruitful, and I’m honored by the opportunity.”

Gervais added: “We understand the increasing importance of cracking that perfect cast that can truly elevate a project, and we look forward to supporting and collaborating with Chelsey as she continues to bring fresh ideas, concepts and talent to the marketplace.”

ITVA is part of ITV Studios and consists of six production labels: ITV Entertainment; Leftfield Pictures; Sirens Media; Thinkfactory Media; High Noon Entertainment; and Good Caper Content. Its series include Queer Eye for Netflix, Love Island for Peacock and The Chase for ABC.
