All3Media International has landed Samsung TV Plus exec Amanda Stevens to lead its expanding FAST and AVOD operations.

Stevens becomes director of global digital partnerships at the UK-based sales arm and is tasked with identifying new ad-supported opportunities and maximising existing deals. She reports into Gary Woolf, All3’s EVP of strategic development, and will join in March, based out of London.

All3’s distribution arm has been increasing its FAST exploits over recent years and operates channels including North American offerings that carry Midsomer Murders and The Only Way Is Essex.

Stevens was most recently Samsung TV Plus’ senior manager of business development for all third-party channels, a role in which she worked with All3. Her remit extended to managing content strategy, rights negotiation and delivery of FAST channels and AVOD platforms.

Prior to this, Stevens was senior manager of content partnerships at TalkTalk (fka Blinkbox) and also held roles including head of acquisitions for Comedy Central and MTV. She began her career at Flextech Television, which became Virgin Media Television.

Woolf said: “We are already collaborating with a diverse range of channels, platforms and aggregators, and have ambitious plans for our brands and content in the digital space, so Amanda’s thorough understanding of this vibrant market and strong relationships with key partners will be a great asset.”

Stevens added: “As digital delivery services become increasingly well-established around the world, they offer so many avenues for All3Media International to reach new viewers with its rich multi-genre portfolio of content. This is a fantastic role working with an innovative, forward-thinking team, and I’m looking forward to maximising the company’s digital growth by establishing new strategic relationships across the globe.”
