Guinness World Records Studios & Fauna prep first animated series

Brody Luckystar

GWR Studios, the production arm of Guinness World Records (GWR), has partnered with Fauna Entertainment to develop its first animated series.

Brody Luckystar follows a young girl who moves to a new town and tracks the challenges she faces as she attempts to break a record.

Screenwriter Eric Shaw (Sponge Bob) is on board to write the pilot scripts, with GWR and Fauna working together to develop all of the show assets, along with the scripts, bible and animatics.

Karen Gilchrist, VP of TV & digital for GWR, said the show was “a shining example of how we can draw on the amazing world of Guinness World Records to create entertaining stories that will show audiences the determination and emotion involved in each and every record attempt.”

GWR launched its production arm last year, with a remit to lead the creative development and production of original content.
