Keshet International has restructured its senior management team with three promotions, following the start of Keren Shahar’s tenure as CEO.

Shahar took the reins of KI earlier this year following the departure of Alon Shtruzman, having most recently been COO president of distribution.

She has now named CFO Saar Dor to be her second-in-command and appointed him COO, with a remit across all business and operational aspects relating to the international company’s activities. Dor, who joined KI in  2013 from EY, retains his CFO duties.

Other changes see Kelly Wright promoted from being SVP of distribution & new business to take the newly created position of MD of distribution.

Wright joined KI as sales director in 2013 and her new remit will see her become a member of KI’s global leadership team.

Finally, Gadi Ben-Dror has been upped to become general Counsel and will also sit on KI’s global team. Ben-Dror joined KI in 2017 as legal counsel.

Shahar is responsible for overseeing all KI’s activities, including its network of production companies and distribution hubs, as well as: Keshet in the UK; Tresor and Keshet Tresor Fiction in Germany; Keshet Studios in the US; and a majority stake in Greenbird Media.

KI’s slate includes Apple TV+ duo Suspicion (based on Keshet’s Fale Flag) and Echo3 (based on When Heroes Fly), as well as The Calling for Peacock and Ralph & Katie for the BBC.
