Lionsgate+ strikes Sky deal as streamer’s Europe expansion gathers pace

Starz-owned streaming platform Lionsgate+ is launching on Sky Glass, Sky Stream and Sky Q in the UK, effective immediately.

Later this year, the app will also make its debut on Sky Q and Sky Glass in Italy and Sky Q in Germany.

Customers in the UK, Ireland, Germany and Italy will be able to subscribe, for £5.99/€4.99 a month, to a library that includes political thriller Gaslit, time travel saga Outlander, along with period dramas The Serpent Queen and the upcoming Dangerous Liaisons.

Other key titles include The Girl From Plainville, The Great and a range of blockbuster fan-favourite movies added to the platform every month.

Formerly known as Starzplay, Lionsgate+ is available in around 63 countries. In 2021, it strengthened its content offering by launching a slate of local language productions.
