US network NBC has commissioned a new series in the America’s Got Talent competition franchise.

Co-produced by Fremantle and SyCo Entertainment, America’s Got Talent: All Stars will feature the return of winners, finalists and fan favourite competitors from previous series in both the America’s Got Talent and wider Got Talent franchises.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Terry Crews will host the new series, which will enter production this month and debut on NBC next year.

Got Talent franchise creator Simon Cowell will join the judging panel, alongside comedian Howie Mandel and TV host Heidi Klum.

Cowell will also exec produce America’s Got Talent: All-Stars, alongside Sam Donnelly and Jason Raff.

Last week, Cowell’s production company SyCo Entertainment, raised $125m to be used as an acquisition fund. The company said it will use the money as a “war-chest to grow the business through a mixture of strategic acquisitions and organic growth projects.”
