eOne promotes new co-heads of US scripted development
Multinational entertainment company Entertainment One (eOne) has promoted Jacqueline Sacerio and Gabriel Marano to co-heads of scripted TV development in the US.
The execs, who both previously served as EVPs of scripted television for the company, will now take on oversight of all its scripted development operations in the country. They will continue to report to Pancho Mansfield, eOne president of global scripted TV, in their new roles.
Sacerio joined eOne in 2015 after an almost eight-year stint as a literary agent at CAA, and currently oversees the company’s first-look and overall deals. She is also responsible for a number of projects set up with streamers and networks, including Showtime drama Yellowjackets and Freeform’s Cruel Summer, both of which she developed internally.
Marano, meanwhile, joined eOne from Fox last year, where he served as SVP of drama programming and development. He currently oversees the development of Hasbro IP, including new adaptations of Dungeons & Dragons and Power Rangers.
“Although they each have their own distinct style, both Jackie and Gabe have excelled at developing strong relationships and guiding storytellers to deliver their very best work,” commented Mansfield. “I’m so pleased by the energy and commitment they’ve brought to our slate of projects, including unique stories from our partners as well as from Hasbro’s deep library of IP.”
