Lionsgate’s Kevin Beggs & Aventine’s Kevin Mayer among NATPE Miami line-up

Former Disney exec Kevin Mayer, Lionsgate’s Kevin Beggs, Discovery’s Kathleen Finch and Bambú Producciones’ Teresa Fernández-Valdés are among a slew of senior executives confirmed to appear at next month’s NATPE Miami.

The event, which runs 18-20 January at the Fontainebleau Resort in Miami, will include a panel session exploring the evolving business of content since the introduction of streaming from a financial perspective.

Mayer, who is co-CEO of investment firm Aventine, and Beggs will be joined by Jessica Reif Ehrlich, an analyst at Bank of America’s Securities Global Research arm, as they discuss the rapidly changing content landscape.

Elsewhere, NBCUniversal’s president of advertising & partnerships Laura Molen will discuss revenue opportunities in advertising and marketing, while the inner workings of international content production will be explore in another session featuring Bambú Producciones’ Teresa Fernández-Valdés, Calinos CEO Firat Gulgen, and Luca Bernabei, CEO and producer at Lux Vide.

That will be immediately followed by a conversation on the transformation of international co-productions featuring Studiocanal’s exec MD of TV series Francoise Guyonnet, Banijay Rights EVP Matt Creasey, Sony SVP Ana Bond and Fremantle’s drama chief Christian Vesper.

Unscripted will be explored during the event with a keynote from Discovery’s chief lifestyle brand officer Kathleen Finch, while sessions exploring formats presented by The Format Recognition and Protection Association (FRAPA) will also feature.
