Zodiak Belgium names SBS exec as managing director

Zodiak Belgium has hired SBS’s Isabelle Dams as its new managing director.

Dams joins in the autumn from SBS Belgium, where she led both Channel 5 and the company’s in-house production company.

Dams will report to Banijay Group COO Peter Langenberg and is charged with developing and producing original content with local and global appeal.

Zodiak Belgium’s current series include daily soap Familie for VTM and real estate titles Huizenjagers and Blind Gekocht for SBS4. It is also responsible for the local versions of international formats such as Survivor (Expeditie Robinson), Dragon’s Den (Leeuwenkuil) and Antiques Roadshow (Rijker dan je denkt?)

Langenberg said: “With a combined editorial and commissioning background, Isabelle boasts the perfect credentials to drive the growth of Zodiak Belgium.”
