Studiocanal appoints strategy and finance boss

Studiocanal has promoted Jérémy Gabbay to the role of chief financial and strategy officer.
The exec, who was previously head of business development at the French firm, will take up the role on 12 October.
He will report into Didier Lupfer, chief exec of Studiocanal.
Gabbay began his career as a consultant at firms BearingPoint and Arthur D. Little, where he worked on media and telecom projects. In 2014, he joined Canal+ Group’s strategy department.
The business recently appointed Nicola Shindler, founder of Happy Valley producer Red, as the head of its UK division. Studiocanal acquired Red in 2013.
