Keshet Int’l signs Chilean co-development deal

Global distributor Keshet International has signed a deal with a Chilean TV network to co-develop a new entertainment series.

Kelly Wright Head of Latin America 2It will co-develop the series with Santiago-based Mega over the next year for broadcast in the companies’ respective territories. Keshet International, the global arm of Israel’s Keshet Media Group, will have international distribution rights to the series.

We look forward to putting our teams together to develop new concepts.”

This follows the news that Keshet International has opened a new production hub in Mexico, Keshet MX, to tap into the Latin American market.

It has also signed co-development ventures with Argentinian TV network Telefe for a show to be released in 2017, and an original Spanish-language scripted series to air on the Telemundo network.

Keshet International is the global production and distribution arm of Keshet Media Group. Some of its recent credits include Israeli drama Prisoners of War which inspired Homeland, and a family drama about Autism, The A Word.
