WWE twins get Total Divas spin-off
WWE wrestling twins Nikki and Brie Bella are getting their own reality series on US cable channel E!.
Total Bellas will be a 6x60mins spin-off of the Total Divas series, which follows the lives of wrestling entertainment company WWE’s female stars away from the ring. The new show will feature the Bella twins and their partners, wrestlers John Cena and Daniel Bryan.
“Nikki and Brie Bella have an undeniable charm and wit that matches their irrefutable beauty, and we are thrilled to get an intimate look into what it’s like to be in a relationship with some of the hottest sports entertainers in the world,” said Jeff Olde, executive VP, programming and development for NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment-owned E!.
The Bella twins will continue to appear on Total Divas, whose fifth season concludes tonight in the US. A sixth has been ordered in conjunction with the new series.
Total Divas and Total Bellas are coproduced by WWE Productions and Banijay Group-owned Bunim-Murray Productions, with Gil Goldschien, Jeff Jenkins and Russell Jay executive producing for the latter and Kevin Dunn doing the same for the WWE.
