ABS-CBN takes Care Bears with Rob the Robot

Singaporean broadcaster ABS-CBN has acquired a trio of children’s programmes from regional distributor Bomanbridge Media.

The deal comprises Care Bears Welcome to Care-A-Lot, Care Bears and Cousins and Rob the Robot.

American Greetings Entertainment sub-licenses regional distribution rights for the Care Bears titles to Bomanbridge, while One Animation produces Rob the Robot.

“These shows have a very active social media following in SE Asia; kids embrace these characters whole-heartedly. ABS-CBN is sure to have success with the programmes,” said Sonia Fleck, CEO of Bomanbridge.
