Passion ups Elin Thomas

Passion Distribution has promoted Elin Thomas to director of global sales.

Thomas (pictured) joined Passion last summer after almost two decades at BBC Worldwide, latterly as its international formats chief.

At Tinopolis-owned, UK-based distributor Passion, Thomas is credited with growing overall and format sales with notable deals for entertainment series RuPaul’s Drag Race and Worst Driver.

Passion CEO Sally Miles said: “Elin has made such a positive impact to our business in the year since she joined and her promotion to director of sales is very well deserved. Our format business has grown since she joined the company both in understanding and revenue.”

Thomas said: “The last year has been a very exciting challenge for me and I was thrilled to be offered a director position by Sally one year on. We have an excellent slate and I’m looking forward to leading the sales team to new heights over the coming year”.
