Fox UK, TF1, Atresmedia buy The Fixer
Producer and distributor Sonar Entertainment has shopped its conspiracy thriller The Fixer to a raft of international broadcasters.
The show, which stars Eric Dane (Grey’s Anatomy) and Kathleen Robertson (Boss), has been picked up by Fox International Channels UK, as well as Spanish free-to-air broadcaster Atresmedia and its French counterpart TF1.
Elsewhere in Europe, MTG has taken Swedish rights and Telenet has acquired the show in Belgium. Sky has taken it in New Zealand and Zazie Films has it for Japan.
The Fixer is produced by Muse Entertainment and distributed worldwide by Sonar Entertainment, excluding Canada.
Marielle Zuccarelli, executive VP, international distribution, Sonar (pictured), said: “The classic themes of espionage, conspiracy and misdirection, along with fast paced action and a highly appealing cast, have a proven appeal to viewers everywhere.”
