Endemol Shine unites commercial teams

Endemol Shine Group has combined the Shine 360° and Endemol international commercial partnerships teams under the leadership of Branco Scherer who is promoted to managing director of the merged entity.

MasterChef-Australia-auditionsThe commercial team oversees branded and ad-funded programming, licensing and merchandising and digital products.

Scherer will run the team with Lorraine Burgess becoming director of commercial and digital development.

Frances Adams becomes director of brand development overseeing licensing & merchandising business for new and established brands including Masterchef (pictured), The Biggest Loser and Mr Bean.

Ingrid Akkerman becomes director of brand relations and Mark Rosenegk director of brand partnerships at the new group. They will work with Endemol Shine Group’s branded content teams around the world including the team at digital channel network Endemol Beyond.

Tom Jeans joins the team as director of commercial and business affairs, working alongside Mark Rosenegk. He will roll out international licensing deals for ESI properties.

Karen Maldoy, senior manager, digital products and Joe Pietroni, director of app development, will oversee the development of apps and games that can be adapted for entertainment brands in markets around the world.
