News brief: US prodco rehires Hamilton

US producer 2C Creative & Content has rehired a former production exec to spearhead an expansion of its unscripted programming slate.

Tim Hamilton (pictured) returns to 2C ten years after first executive producing a TV series, Project: Freshman, while with the company.

Having most recently been Tremendous! Entertainment’s VP, development, with credits for the likes of A+E Networks and TLC, he will be senior VP, development, overseeing a slate of new shows.

“With his background in our sweet spot, Tim is the natural choice to champion the expansion of 2C’s development slate as we head into our next decade,” said Chris Sloan, founder and chief creative officer of 2C, which is represented by William Morris Endeavor Entertainment.
