ProSieben Maxx launches in Germany

ProSiebenSat.1’s new channel ProSieben Maxx has launched in Germany today.

The channel, aimed at males aged 30-59, is available on a number of cable platforms including Unitymedia Kabel BW and Tele Columbus, which has launched it on its digital tier, with a launch on analogue to follow in two weeks and the HD variant to be added in the fourth quarter.

Maxx recently anniounced a programming deal with BBC Worldwide for a branded BBC Earth natural history block.
