News brief: TBS renews original trio

US cable channel TBS has commissioned third seasons of its sitcoms Sullivan & Son and Men at Work and a second of prank show format Deal With It.

Sullivan & Son (pictured), which is about a corporate lawyer that buys a family-owned bar and comes from Wild West Picture Show Productions and Warner Horizon Television, will get a new 13-part run in summer 2014.

Buddy comedy Men at Work, which comes from Sony Pictures Television and Fanfare, gets a new 10-episode season early next year; and Deal With It, which is produced by Alevy Productions, Banca Studio and Keshet Broadcasting and Lionsgate Television, also gets a 10-part run.

Deal With It is based on an Israeli format from Keshet and compatriot United Studios.
