Zee gets Connected with Armoza

connectedIndian free-to-air broadcaster Zee has ordered a local version of reality series Connected from Israel-based formats distributor Armoza.

The series has five participants filming themselves as their life stories become intertwined. Zee’s version will run to 65 episodes and start airing next week. It will be stripped through the week in a 10pm slot.

The Indian deal comes as Armoza clinches other deals and renewals for the format.

In Estonia, free-to-air channel Kanal 2 has ordered a 30-episode version, which is in production.

In Finland, MTV’s Sub channel has ordered a second series of the format.

CEO Avi Armoza said: “With its unique language of self-exposure, it enables to bring something more real than any other docu or factual series, and that has created true value to the audiences and the broadcasters alike.”
