Banijay sells diving series into Turkey

Banijay International has sold its diving format Stars in Danger into Turkey for the first time.

It has inked a deal with Turkish producer Medyapim, which will make a 10x90mins Stars in Danger: The High Dive for free-to-air broadcaster Show TV. Pre-production is underway and the show will bow later this year.

Banijay and Eyeworks remain locked in dispute about their diving-based formats, Stars in Danger: High Diving and Celebrity Splash.

Both have proved popular in international markets. Banijay has sold its show into the US, China, Italy, Spain and Sweden.

Eyeworks, meanwhile, has shopped its format to partners in the US, Argentina, Australia, China, Finland, France, ITV and Ukraine.
