HBO Europe appoints production execs

HBO Europe has made three programming appointments.

Wayne Henry has been appointed VP, production, based in Budapest. He was previously a production consultant at HBO Europe and has worked at the ABC, FremantleMedia, Warner Bros. and Sony Pictures Television.

Jozsef Berger has been appointed original production executive, HBO Hungary. Based in Budapest, Berger will oversee development and production of original production projects in Hungary. He was previously a producer at his own company.

Anna Nagler has been appointed development executive at HBO Poland. Based in Warsaw, she moves from her position in script development at indie producer Akson Studio.

Antony Root, executive VP of original programming and production, said:” These three appointments add further creative and production strength to our group as we seek to grow our distinctive, high-quality fiction and documentary output in the region.”
