Astro buys package of kids shows from Beyond

Astro TVIQ, the Malaysian pay TV operator’s kids branded kids channel, has agreed a deal with Beyond Distribution for 230 hours of programming.

The package deal was agreed at MIPCOM and gives Astro TVIQ series including Buzzy Bee & Friends, Milly Molly, Lab Rats Challenge and Wild Animal Baby Explorers.

The deal covered sixteen series in all.

TVIQ also renewed an agreement for Backyard Science, which has performed well on the channel.
