FremantleMedia promotes Kinane as Rob Clark returns
International producer and distributor FremantleMedia has appointed Trish Kinane as president, worldwide entertainment and has found a new role for the returning Rob Clark.
Kinane has been acting president, worldwide entertainment following Clark’s extended sabbatical and has now been awarded the job permanently. Meanwhile, Clark, who was previously president, worldwide entertainment, will become director, global entertainment development and will lead the company’s efforts to create and acquire international entertainment formats.
She will continue to report to FremantleMedia chief operating officer Gary Carter, while Clark will report to FremantleMedia chief executive Tony Cohen. Clark will also join the company’s operating board.
Kinane, who was previously managing director of production company Action Time, will continue to oversee the international roll out of FremantleMedia’s non-scripted formats including Idols, The X Factor and Got Talent.
