Italian pay TV channel Sky has bought Borgia, the Tom Fontana drama series about the Italian renaissance family.

The series, which is coproduced by Atlantique Production, EOS Entertainment and Etic Film and had previously been picked up by Canal+ in France and HBO in Latin America.

In Germany, it will be on free-to-air channel ZDF and in Austria on ORF.
