Disney to remake Telemundo’s Elisa for Colombia

Disney Media Networks Latin America is to produce a Colombian version of Telemundo Internacional’s telenovela Where is Elisa?

The Latin American channels arm of Disney is remaking the series, which originally launched in Chile on TVN. It marks a significant move for Telemundo Internacional’s format aspirations in Latin America.

The show will be produced by Columbian production company Visat and will air on RCN.

The series was written by Pablo Illanes and directed by Maria Eugenia Rencoret; it has also aired in the States and is set to be adapted locally in Turkey and Indonesia.
