UK digital producers get contracts template

Pact, the UK trade body for TV producers, has produced a range of contracts and templates that can be used by the new generation of producers that focus on the digital space.

Member companies can access the information on Pact’s website.

“These new contract templates are the place to start when you are going into digital production,” said Nick Underhill, senior policy executive at Pact. “Through working with our Interactive Media Industry Group and legal experts we’ve crafted our first batch of templates which are downloadable and now ready to use”.

The industry group has recently made a concerted effort to reach out to digital production and distribution companies and have them join the organization, offering a reduced membership fee that starts at £500 per year.
