CTC exec sells Lean-M stake to Sony

CTC Media senior executive Vyacheslav Murugov has sold his stake in Russian indie producer Lean-M to Sony Pictures Television, according to local reports.

Murugov owned a 16% stake, which he has now offloaded for an undisclosed sum.

Murugov, who is senior content officer at the free-to-air broadcaster, sold his stake in the company to Sony, which already owns the majority of the producer, to avoid the appearance of a conflict of interest.
