Content Innovation Awards 2019

Endemol Shine Group, Sky and Kew Media were among the stand-out winners at this year’s Content Innovation Awards, which took place during a lavish ceremony prior to MIPCOM in Cannes.

At a packed event at the Majestic Hotel, Sky’s epic series Chernobyl beat off finalists including Benedict Cumberbatch-starring Patrick Melrose and Bavaria Fiction’s Das Boot to take home the coveted Best Debut Drama Series prize.

The awards, which are now into their fifth year, also saw Endemol Shine take home the Entertainment Format of the Year trophy for its culinary veteran MasterChef, while the Best Documentary Series prize was won by Kew Media Distribution for Leaving Neverland, about the two men who alleged they were sexually abused by pop icon Michael Jackson.

Content Innovation Awards 2018

The fourth annual Content Innovation Awards saw CBS Television Studios, AMC Networks International and Endemol Shine Group win big, bringing home awards for Best Debut Drama Series, Series Launch of the Year and more.
