News brief: Asian nets acquire Jim Henson shows

Asian channels including Hong Kong’s TVB have acquired content from The Jim Henson Company. Among the deals, TVB has acquired a multi-episode broadcast agreement for Doozers, Pajanimals and Sid the Science Kid. Also in Hong Kong, PCCW has bought Pajanimals. In Europe, Finland’s Nelonen has acquired Fraggle Rock and Labyrinth.

Disney has picked up animated series Pajanimals across a raft of territories. The 52x11mins series is produced and distributed by The Jim Henson Company.
