Amazon Channels launched with a line-up of more than 40 channels in the UK and more than 25 in Germany and Austria, with the Germanline-up including channels like Cirkus, Motorvision.tv and Syfy Horror.

Amazon first pioneered the service by launching an a la carte channels offering in the US in December 2015, in partnership with major TV networks and content makers like Showtime, Starz and AMC.
