Televisa SVOD service bags 800-ep deal

Kids-logo-460_2AlmostNakedAnimalsMexican SVOD platform Blim has scored a content deal with Canada’s 9 Story Media Group that comprises more than 800 episodes.

Televisa launched Blim last month in a bid to battle the newly-launched Netflix, and has now significantly bolstered its kids programming line up with the 9 Story agreement.

The deal includes seasons one to three of Almost Naked Animals, Finding Stuff Out (s1-3) and season one of Monkey See Monkey Do.

“We are making sure that we have great content for all members of the family and having 9 Story’s titles on our platform provides the youngest members of the family with quality entertainment,” said Carlos Sandoval, Blim’s general manager.

“Televisa’s long standing record as a major media powerhouse positions the 9 Story brands for optimal success within the territory,” said 9 Story’s director, distribution Federico Vargas.
