Hulu scoops exclusive Curious George

Kids-logo-460_2Curious George Swings Into SpringHulu has netted an exclusive deal for kids show Curious George.

The deal gives the US streaming and catch-up service exclusive rights to new and library episodes of the animated series, including specials and movies.

Hulu will play the Curious George content in the ad-free Hulu Kids section of its service.

The agreement, struck between Hulu and Curious George rights owner NBCU Television & New Media Distribution, kicks in at end-March.

The Curious George series is produced by Universal Pictures Home Entertainment’s production arm, Universal 1440 Entertainment.

Curious George has aired on PBS in recent years, winning several awards for its run on the PBS Kids service.
