Reilly promotes Bradley at Turner

Kevin Reilly has promoted Deborah Bradley to an executive VP post at Turner Broadcasting System.

Deborah BradleyBradley (left), previously a senior VP in Turner’s sales team, has been named EVP, networks and programme optimisation, content strategy and commercialisation.

In the role she will be responsible for acquisitions, licensing, programme planning, scheduling, operations and inventory management for TNT and TBS networks and their digital and mobile platforms.

She will report to Kevin Reilly (below, right), who was brought in at Turner as president of TNT and TBS and chief creative officer of Turner Entertainment last year after exiting his post as Fox entertainment chief.

The news comes after Reilly univeiled his top-level management team in February, handing Sarah Aubrey control of TNT and Brett Weitz TBS.

Kevin ReillyBradley joined Turner in 2010 as SVP, programme acquisitions, from CBS CBS Television Distribution, where she had worked for six years after joining from Paramount Domestic Television.

In 2012, she oversaw Turner’s first-ever SVOD deals, licensing Falling Skies to Amazon Prime Instant Video and shows from Cartoon Network, Adult Swim and TNT to Netflix. This year, she closed the exclusive multi-year SVOD deal sees Turner shows go out on Hulu in the US.

“Deb is integral to raising the profile of our content and expanding the reach of our brand in almost every aspect, from acquiring hit shows like The Big Bang Theory and American Dad! to forging major licensing deals with streaming services and maximising the on-air inventory,” said Reilly.
