Trio of first-look deals for DRG

MTG-owned distributor DRG has secured a raft of new content after striking three first-look deals with UK indie producers.

It has inked an exclusive deals with Jonathan Drake and Steve Maher’s fledgling drama prodco Three River Fiction.

It has also agreed a two-year development deal established UK indie Hillbilly Films & Television, which counts BBC Four Monty Python film Holy Flying Circus among its credits.

The third deal is with Runaway Fridge Productions, which produced ITV drama .

Richard Halliwell (pictured), chief operating officer at DRG, said: “Three River Fiction, Hillbilly Films and Runaway Fridge are exactly the type of producers that we are looking to work with – all have ambitious, high-end and original projects in development that have real international appeal and global scope.”
