Robin Hood completes Euro roll-out

Toon series Robin Hood: Mischief in Sherwood has now secured 100% carriage on free TV in the UK, its distributor has claimed.

The Method Animation- and DQ Entertainment-produced show has completed its European FTA roll-out after Sony Pictures Television-owned CSC Pop in the UK and Ireland and MTVA in Hungary bought it from PGS Entertainment.

This follows deals with Clan in Spain, OufTivi/RTBF in French-speaking Belgium, VRT in Flemish-speaking Belgium, RTL TéléKids in the Netherlands, BBC Alba in Scotland, RTS in Switzerland, MTV3 in Finland, NRK in Norway, SVT in Sweden, LRT in Lithuania and Pixel Channel in Ukraine.

TF1 and Disney Channel from France, DeAKids in in Italy and ZDF in Germany co-commissioned the 52x11mins show, which follows the adventures of a young Robin of Locksley.
