Flamman exits in Turner restructure

Pete-Flamman-3Pete Flamman (pictured) has left Turner Broadcasting amid the latest round of restructuring.

Flamman was upped to senior VP, COO and head of kids, Turner EMEA, in January 2013 following wide-ranging management changes at the company instigated by international boss Gerhard Zeiler.

Zeiler also brought in Giorgio Stock from Disney and he in turn recruited Patricia Hidalgo from his former employers. In the latest changes Hidalgo, senior VP and chief content officer kids, joins the Turner senior leadership team.

Johanne Broadfield, VP, licensing and merchandising, will also join that team, reporting to Stock, under the new structure joining VP, corporate strategy and insights Jamie Friend and senior VP, finance Aksel van der Wal.

Turner has recently recruited Humphrey Black from Disney and Ian McDonough from BBC Worldwide and said the latest changes complete a ‘significant reorganisation’ of its senior leadership team.

“Patricia, Johanne and Jamie are entrepreneurial thinkers who combine huge creative flair with deep commercial acumen,” said Stock. “Turner’s businesses are poised for even greater success under their leadership.”
