Erik de Winter replaces Grant Ross at Endemol

Endemol’s global head of acquisitions, Grant Ross, is leaving the company and will be replaced by acquisitions manager Erik de Winter.

Ross is leaving the producer and distributor for an unspecified role outside Endemol. Having joined Endemol France in 2007, he was upped to head of format acquisitions in 2009.

Erik de Winter is being promoted to global manager of format acquisitions. He joined Endemol in September 2011 from Absolutely Independent having previously been at RCV.

He said: “We wish Grant the very best in his next role and thank him for all he has done in leading the growth of Endemol’s acquisitions business. By targeting the best third party formats on the market we have built a great line up of acquired shows, which are rolling out across the Endemol network to broadcasters around the world.”

Ross added: “I’ve had a fantastic seven years at Endemol and I’m sad to be leaving behind such a great company and enormously talented colleagues. I can’t think of anyone better qualified to lead the company’s acquisitions business than Erik, who has the ideal skills and experience to continue building on everything the team has achieved.”
