Netflix adds first original doc series

New doc series Russell Peters Vs. the World will be Netflix’s first original documentary.

Stand up comic Peters will star in the four-part doc series, which will go out exclusively on the streaming service along with comedy special Notorious.

The shows will launch on Netflix in the US, Canada, UK, Netherlands, Scandinavia and Latin America on October 14.

Last week, Netflix announced comedy special Aziz Ansari: Buried Alive as the first show from its drive into stand up comedy.
