Keshet International’s talent format Master Class travels

The global march of Israeli formats shows no sign of slowing down after Keshet International’s Master Class was sold across Scandinavia and CEE.

The musical talent show is to be remade locally in Sweden, Norway and Hungary after the Israeli distributor closed option deals.

Nice Entertainment, the group of Nordic production companies owned by private equity company CapMan, has optioned the series in Sweden and Norway, while an as-yet unnamed broadcaster in Hungary will also produce a local version.

This comes as Keshet Broadcasting commissioned a second season of the show, produced by Tedy Productions in Israel, after it became the second highest rating show in the country last year.

The 12x1hour Master Class is a musical talent format where children sing classic songs with no negative reviews or eliminations.
