All3Media announces Farah Ramzan Golant as CEO

All3Media has hired Farah Ramzan Golant as its new CEO. She joins from advertising agency AMV BBDO and replaces Steve Morrison who will stay with UK super indie in the role of chairman.

Ramzan Golant, 48, is understood to have beat a number of candidates to land the role and her appointment surprised some industry-watchers who had expected a name from the TV industry to take the reins at All3Media.

She became CEO of AMV BBDO, the biggest advertising agency in the UK, in 2005 and has been executive chairman since 2011. AMV BBDO has run well-known campaigns for advertisers including BT, Sainsburys, Pepsi, Starbucks and Mercedes.

Steve Morrison will continue to take an active role in All3Media in his role as chairman.

He said: “We are delighted that Farah is joining All3Media. She has shown by her achievements that she has the drive, the vision and the inspiration to lead a world class creative company. Farah also brings over 20 years’ experience of working closely with major broadcasters and advertisers. She has a sure sense of how our fertile creativity makes All3Media and its production companies stand out.”

Ramzan Golant said: “All3Media has fantastic ambition for future growth within their creative industry, across genres, media and geography. These plans are exciting and credible because they are based on knowledge, experience and appetite to innovate.”
