MIPTV 2014: The Divide star Ireland heading to Croisette

The DivideMarin Ireland, star of AMC Networks drama The Divide, will be in Cannes at MIPTV.

The series, which Tricon Films & Television is selling internationally, follows Ireland (front right) who plays an impassioned caseworker chasing evidence that would prove a death row inmate innocent.

Tricon picked up rights to the show, which is set for AMC Networks-owned WE tv later this summer, in October last year. Tricon also exclusively sells shows from AMC Networks-owned IFC.

It comes from AMC Studios and was written by Academy-nominated scribed Richard LaGravenese, who co-created it with Ton Goldwyn.
