Discovery launches UK mobile channels

Discovery Networks has launched two new mobile TV channels in the UK. It has launched Discovery Turbo and Animal Planet via mobile TV platforms from operators Vodafone and Orange. Shows that will be available include American Chopper, Meerkat Manor and Crocodile Hunter Diaries.

The Office launches online

The Office is set to be available online for the first time in the US after BBC Worldwide America inked a pair of digital distribution deals. Worldwide signed agreements with Netflix.com and Vuze.com that will allow the UK series, starring Ricky Gervais, to be made available via download-to-own and download-to-rent.
