Fremantle hires WBD kids exec as director of scripted acquisitions

Fremantle has appointed Warner Bros. Discovery kids’ exec Sabina McNally as director of acquisitions for scripted content.

McNally joins Fremantle after more than eight years at WarnerMedia, latterly as senior acquisitions manager for kids EMEA since January 2021 and through the company’s merger with Discovery.

Prior to that, she spent more than six years at BBC Studios in a range of roles, departing in 2015 as programming executive and also having served as acquisitions manager.

She joined BBC Studios from ITV Studios, where she spent four years, joining in 2004 and exiting in 2008 as acquisitions and co-productions co-ordinator.
