Leonine appoints UFA Fiction alum to manage Wiedemann & Berg TV

Germany’s Leonine Studios has appointed producer and UFA Fiction alum Benjamin Benedict to the management team of its Wiedemann & Berg Television.

He will lead the company, together with Oliver Vogel, Max Wiedemann and Quirin Berg.

Benedict previously served at UFA Fiction as head of high-end drama, managing director and producer, with credits including The Tower, Der Fall Jakob Von Metzler, Redemption Road, Kruso, Altes Land and Eldorado Kadewe.

The producer has also worked on the miniseries Generation War, television films Bornholmer Strasse, Homevideo, Auf Kurze Distanz and Naked Among Wolves, as well as the Donna Leon, Allmen and Charlotte Link franchises, the series Our Wonderful Years and Legal Affairs and the brands Ku’Damm and Charité.
