‘Fight to Survive’ prodco Big Media links with Video Solutions for FAST

Video Solutions, the Swiss outfit that owns and operates AVOD platform wedotv and FAST channel wedo movies, has entered into a joint venture with unscripted producer Big Media.

The deal will see the JV create, market and distribute FAST networks globally, with the first channel to be launched being Wedo Big Docs, which will bow on Zattoo in Germany, Switzerland and Austria from this autumn.

It will also be accessible via Waipu TV in Germany and on Netgem TV in the UK, with Big Media such as Wild Ones, Fight To Survive and Desperate Hours available to viewers. New series will be added monthly.

Video Solutions CEO and founder Philipp Rotermund said: “This joint venture combines the years of experience Big Media has in documentary and factual entertainment content production with our expertise in building and distributing ad-supported streaming channels.
