Nordic streamer Ruutu takes ‘SAS: Who Dares Wins’ into Finland

SAS Who Dares Wins Finland

Nelonen’s Nordic SVOD platform Ruutu has ordered a local version of SAS: Who Dares Wins, to be produced by Banijay Finland.

The show is set to air this year and will feature a line-up of celebrities who will undertake a unique version of the special forces selection process to discover if they have what is required to be chosen for the elite training corp.

The Finnish training team is headed up by Navy veteran Janne Lehtonen, who is joined by a team of former elite servicemen to run the course and provide a unique insight into the process.

The format was created by UK production company Minnow Films and is sold globally by Banijay Rights, which has struck seven local deals, including with networks in Denmark, Sweden and Australia amongst others.

Banijay Finland already produces local versions of formats including Banijay’s Survivor and Temptation Island, as well as BBC Studios’ Dancing With The Stars.
